One of the exciting collaborations ARTrinsic Inc. has had the privilege of undertaking is conducting a series of portraiture workshops in remote regional areas of WA.
In partnership with Save the Children in 2011, 2013 and 2014 ARTrinsic Inc. conducted extensive workshops in the far north of WA in very remote communities of Djarindjin, Beagle Bay, Lombadina and One Arm Point.
The joy and enthusiasm was infectious, as young artists were guided through the complex process of creating a self portrait by professional artists Di Taylor and Tessa McOnie.
Thank you to all the staff and students involved at these communities, to Di Taylor, Tessa McOnie, Save the Children and Healthway for their support.
The 2011 Go for 2 ‘n’ 5 Black Swan Prize for Portraiture Regional Art Workshops were proudly sponsored by Healthway.
