The City of Perth Black Swan Prize for Portraiture was launched in Western Australia in September 2007, to rave reviews. Complete with drama, controversy and
finally on awards night, euphoria, more than 4000 people attended the inaugural exhibition in just over a week. In 2008, Artrinsic Inc is proud to
announce that the City of Perth Black Swan Prize for Portraiture has emerged as a prestigious portrait competition in its own right.
Entries from artists have now been received from across Australia with
51 finalists being chosen to display their artworks at the Perth Town Hall
in September.
$25,000 worth of prizes will be awarded to two chosen artists at a special Presentation Evening held on September 25th.
