The City of Perth Black Swan Youth Portraiture Awards encourage young artists to develop their talents in the field of portraiture. In 2009 we will showcase selected works of students from Western Australian Secondary Colleges and High Schools. Budding young artists have been given the opportunity to paint one of nine celebrities who have been chosen to be the "faces of 2009" or paint a well known/well respected Australian of their choice.

The winning artworks will be placed on permanent display in Starlight Club Ado, Princess Margaret Hospital.
